On Saturday, I had the absolute honour for being the opening support for Brisbane’s music legend, Darren Middleton of the renowned Powderfinger group. It was a great night meeting the other members of the group like Ian Haug, John Collins and Bernard Fanning.
Darren also had a long list of other guests such as Karl S. Williams, Mia Wray, Sahara Beck and more which made for a spectacular night. It was definitely one of my favourite experiences in music. The girls from Avaberee were also the other support and their lush acapella pop was so soothing to listen to.
And to top it all off, I got to do it in the gorgeous aviation room of The Triffid, what a night! Thank you to the lovely audience for welcoming me in and being a great crowd to vibe off.
