We were invited to be a part of BalconyTV Sunshine Coast on Friday. As Jack our bassist was down in Sydney getting his passport (he’s about to move to Switzerland which we are extremely sad about), we decided to do an acoustic duo rendition of ‘Cupid.’
The Reversals were on before us, and Jasper who plays drums for them and is currently our fill-in drummer lingered around for our set up. As Joe and I did our first rehearsal of the acoustic version just before we were about to go live (haha we’ve been too busy), Jasper started doing some body percussion and so we thought it was a spontaneous great idea for him to join in.

We decided to celebrate the end of the film by doing rap squats.
Then, the owner of the beautiful Balcony on Mt Mellum asked us what rap squats were and asked to join in haha. We thought it was hilarious! What a great spirit. Next Anthony decided to dress and pose me up into a cowboy haha. Our tummies were getting hungry so we stopped off for delicious pizza and pasta in Beerwah then headed on home. Joe and I met up with our pal Alan for hot chocolate at Caboolture half way home. Once we got to Brisbane, Joe had this fantastic idea of eating our favourite gelato ice cream place.
As Joe drove my car into the gelato street, it started making this awful noise and screeching as you put the clutch in. Anyway long story short, turns out my throw out bearing and clutch plate wore out and I had to conveniently, leave my car out the front of my favourite ice cream place in all of Brisbane. Safe to say I had quite a few over two days. Fixing it burned a huge hole in my wallet.
